Sports Intern - WBNS-TV at Dispatch Broadcast Group

WBNS-10TV Sports interns gain experience through logging sporting events both in person and on television; running teleprompter during Wall to Wall Sports; editing on Grass Valley NewsEdit software; learning all aspects of putting together a sportscast; covering the OSU football and high school football; and maintenance of sports video archiving system.  The WBNS sports staff works closely with the student in every area (on-air, production, photography, editing, etc.) to give a well-rounded experience. The student will also receive feedback through evaluations and through interaction with all members of the sports department.  Students must be enrolled at the junior or senior level and be eligible to receive college course credit based on participation in an unpaid internship; availability of 15 hours per week is required.  Interested students may apply by emailing a cover letter and resume to: margaret.thomas@10tv.com.  We are an equal opportunity employer.
