The Art of Lauren Luna seeking a creative and resourceful college student to serve as an intern. The internship is full of perks for someone looking to enhance their resume, get some great designer shoes, and meeting influential people in the art and entertainment industry, just to name a few. While this position is unpaid, the benefits to the prospective intern are endless. The selected candidate will be afforded boundless opportunities to network with influential members of the Central Ohio community. This includes , representatives of city government, and leaders from the Central Ohio arts community. Additionally, the intern will be invited to attend organizational events, celebrations, and fundraising opportunities that will allow for additional networking opportunities.
As an intern you will assist with some or all of the following functions depending on your area of focus/interest and capabilities:
- Research designs
- Maintain upkeep of website
- Ensure that the Website is easy to navigate and that it addresses the needs of my company
- Be well versed in the business and to the industry in which Lauren Luna Ltd. belongs
- Make sure the server and browsers can properly handle e-mail, transmit news, and download files
- Know how to work Flash, html, http, and xml
- Monitor traffic on the site
- Seek out ways to increase traffic
Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Advanced computer and internet skills; Flash, html, xml
- Be versed in Yahoo frontpage
- Effective communication and administrative skills.
- Able to work with little to no supervision
- Works well independently and in groups
- Able to meet deadlines
- Must be creative, self-guided, and resourceful.
- Able to take direction well
- Relevant college curriculum and/or experience with the arts.
