Proposal Communications Intern at Battelle Memorial Institute

We are currently seeking a Proposal Communications Intern. This position located in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities: 

•        Assist with analysis of Federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

•        Develop proposal specifications and editorial style sheets

•        Review proposal sections for compliance

•        Edit proposal documents and proofreading changes

•        Quality check proposal volumes after they have been printed.

 •       Coordinate with graphics development and production staff

•        Help to prepare review materials

•        Coordinate distribution of final proposal documents.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

•        Currently enrolled student in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program. Majoring in

          technical communication, journalism, English, business communication, or marketing

          communication

•        Minimum GPA of 3.0

•        Demonstrated excellence in oral and written English language communication skills and

          ability to edit and proofread documents with attention to detail

•        Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment

•        Proven ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure of strict deadlines

•        Proficient in working with Microsoft Office software

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

•        Educational coursework in proposal development, technical writing and editing, and/or

         Governmental communications
