Digital Services Internship at Ohio Historical Society
Expires February 9, 2012Working with the National Digital Newspaper Program in Ohio team, the intern will assist with the following tasks:
· Preparing microfilm for digitization
· Performing quality control checks on metadata and images
· Preparing documentation for the National Digital Newspaper Program in Ohio
Intern will also be required to do public service in the Ohio Historical Society Research Room and other duties as assigned. Internship may require prolonged sitting and viewing of computer and microfilm reader machines.
The successful candidate must be available between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Currently, there is one $1,500 stipend position available. Intern must complete 200 hours by May 31, 2012. Stipend will be awarded at the completion of 200 hours of service.
