Intern to Fashion Photographer at Stephanie Matthews Photography

This is a multi-faceted internship designed to give the candidate an in-depth, hands-on experience of fashion & commercial photography. The candidate will see all aspects of what I do from:

1. the planning and implementation of shoots;
   
2. storyboard process;
   
3. retouching; file delivery; workflow management;
   
4. research AND
5. to being on-set during fashion shoots
6. 
   

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent knowledge of Photoshop CS3 and higher, must have own Mac laptop with Photoshop

Design & Layout skills - must provide a portfolio of samples

Attention to detail, punctual, focused, have affinity for fashion and basic understanding of photography

Strong oral and written skils

Internet research skills

Self-motivated

Must be able to meet deadlines

JOB DUTIES

Photo retouching, workflow management and file delivery to clients

Pulling digital tears from internet; researching current fashion trends: clothing, hair, makeup

Responding to emails & phone calls

Address requests for material, contact modeling agencies, PR firms, industry professionals

Update social networking sites

General research and phone calls as needed

Assist with designing and laying out storyboards

Hands-on during concept development

in studio duties - general assistance to photographer, equipment pick-up [possible]

This is a Part-time internship offered for a term of 3 to 4 Months
