Expires February 10, 2012The Colulmbus Food League Human Resources Internship will provide a great opportunity to gain exposure to and experience in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the restaurant industry. We are looking for an intern for Winer quarter (through March) who is able to dedicate a few days a week for several hours in either the morning or afternoon. The position requires competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and using a database setup as well as the ability to courier between our downtown/Short North locations (either by car or bike). Excellent communication skills by phone and email are very important. Intern will work with other office support staff to transition into position and design specific projects beneficial to the company.
The Human Resources internship duties will include maintaining and facilitating communications and flow of documents and materials between appropriate parties regarding the employee management system for five restaurants with 150 employees. Tasks will also include basic office administrative support. CFL is continually striving to streamline and increase efficiency of our internal processes and this internship position is an excellent hands-on opportunity in being a part of this process.
