Active Travel is a full-service travel agency that has provided personalized service to our clients for over 22 years. We pride ourselves in always taking the extra step to please our valued customers. Our office is located at 5064 Cemetery Road, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.

New opportunity for an internship at Active Travel has just opened. The position provides hands-on experience in the areas described below. The candidate should have an eagerness to learn and gain experience. Travel and sales experience is a plus.  We are in search of an intern who is extremely friendly and has a positive attitude. As an intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Answering telephones for new travel reequests
• Greeting clients with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Maintain office setting up appointments
• Conduct professional phone calls to help encourage business
• Help respond to email travel requests/inquiries daily
• Assist agents in pricing vacation packages / emailing resorts
• Other miscellaneous tasks

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. Experience with MS Outlook and/or Access would be desirable. Knowledge of Sabre is a plus.  This position requires  20 office hours a week.

This is a Part-time internship offered for a term of 3 to 4 Months
