Summary of the Job: The Programmer/Analyst performs activities for designated projects including designing, coding, testing and the implementation of programs and systems to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within a prescribed time frame by performing the following duties personally.

Essential Duties

o Ability to develop business systems including participating in joint application development session, database design, application design, coding, debugging, unit testing, documentation, and system testing. o Provides integration support between customer systems and our systems and possesses solid knowledge of file sharing, EDI conventions, and data transfers using (FTP, XML, etc.). o Responsible for application support, future upgrades, installs and enhancements, to Warehouse Management Systems, shipping applications, including RF devices in an ISeries environment.o Responsible for program design and development in a Lotus Domino, web environment with relational database connectivity.o Provides technical support to operations while working in conjunction with corporate objectives.

o Responsible for the efficient use of technology in operations through innovative use of existing and future technology.

Required Educationo College graduate with Bachelors in Computer Science or related field, or Associates Degree with equivalent experience. Required Experience: o Detail knowledge (8+ Years) in the development of custom software applications in the ISeries (AS/400) environment utilizing RPG III/IV (ILE), SQL, CLP, and DB2/400. o At least 4 to 5 years related experience in system development utilizing EDI transaction sets and flat file exchanges via FTP. o Prior experience with building client interfaces using EDI with Extol Integrator/400 is preferred.o 2 to 3 years experience with Lotus Domino, Lotus Script, SQL, Java Script, HTML, Style Sheets and relational databases. DB2/400 and Lotus Notes certification are a plus.o Prior experience in system support and enhancements in regards to implementing WMS’s and systems integrations and start ups. o Experienced in web development, inventory applications, order processing systems, and web-bases systems a plus.o At least 4 to 5 years related experience in systems development project management techniques. o Experienced user of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
