Fall Public Relations Intern at Short North Business Association (SNBA)

The SNBA is offering 3 public relations internship positions for the duration of fall quarter. This position offers insights to business administration, public relations, marketing, and events, as well as the world of not-for-profits.

You will help galleries promote their exhibits as part of Gallery Hop; help merchants create enticing website profiles, business descriptions, and promotions on shortnorth.org; research and draft press releases and web articles; conduct a variety of office/administrative activities (including inventorying and organizing); phone communications, intro to public relations (media contacts); deliveries to and direct communications with 250+ SNBA members; event setup, promotion, and monitoring.

Minimum 15 hours per week.

Minimum 10 weeks.

Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, maturity, dependability, good organizational skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
