POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Under direct supervision of the respective Department Manager or Supervisor, this position is usually that of a college student or graduate who will perform administrative/managerial project-type duties on a temporary, internship basis for the purpose of enhancing career development.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Assists in preparation of manuals, contracts and other policies as needed.

2.Provides day to day assistance in handling of leasing and development, accounting and property management presentations as required.

3.Responsible for keeping databases updated.

4.Orders supplies and distributes mail (if applicable).

5.Creates and maintains spreadsheets for documentation as necessary.

6.Prepares written correspondence as required by respective Department Head/Supervisor.

7.Duplicates, collates, and prepares various materials for mailings, i.e. reports, forms, correspondence, etc.

8.Assists in conference preparations.

9.Files documentation.

10.Performs other duties as required by Manager/Supervisor and staff management.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Must be college student or graduate (who will be working in a department relative to their line of study or degree).

2.Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field

3.Ability to follow policies and procedures.

4.Excellent computer skills.

5.Must have good communication and writing skills.

6.Ability to work well with others.
