A non-profit trade association of standardbred racing owners, trainers, drivers, breeders, and associated industry members established in 1953. The Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association provides all aspects of support and representation for its 3,000+ members while striving to provide a broader voice for its collective membership. The Association provides representation, manages the business of racing, represents the collective horsemen with the Racing Commission, Legislature, and Executive Branch of Ohio. The Association provides and administers self-funded health and retirement benefits, as well as fire, mortality, sulky, and liability insurance for horsemen.
